Besides badminton and shooting, Boxing became the next sport with more than 1 representative attending the Paris Olympic Games. Ha Thi Linh (passing the 2nd qualifying round) and Vo Thi Kim Anh (passing the first qualifying round) are all members of the National Boxing team, practicing in Hanoi.
However, few people know, the national women's boxing team in Linh, Anh is practicing quite “remote” people. According to the decision to gather in 2024, the Vietnamese women's boxing team practiced at two locations: Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. In particular, the team in Hanoi has only 8 members.

The lack of “quantity” in the army of the team is offset by “quality”, when all 6 athletes are the defending national champion. They also have impressive international competition: Diem Quynh won the ASIAD 19 bronze medal, Nguyen Huong has a bronze medal in 2019, Asian bronze medal 2022.
Besides, to enhance the quality of training, the Vietnamese women's boxing team must “borrow” athletes from the Hanoi women's team. This is quite convenient because coach Nguyen Nhu Cuong and Phan Truong Giang are all Hanoi coaches. In addition, the team also regularly practices in My Dinh, where the Hanoi team practices.
After the first qualifying round, the Vietnamese Women's Boxing team moved to practice at Nhon Center. If the team continues to call athletes from Hanoi to practice with, the athletes of Hanoi will have to drive every day between the two Nhon and My Dinh centers, making it difficult for the members.
