With the purpose of evaluating the young boxing training movement of provinces and cities nationwide, Quang Ngai province in collaboration with the Vietnam Boxing Federation organized a national boxing tournament nationwide in 2024.
This year's tournament gathered athletes of 3 groups of 13-14, 15-16 and 17-18. The matches of the tournament will compete under the International Boxing Association (IBA, also known as the World Boxing Federation). The duration of each round is also adjusted to suit each age group of the boxer.
Ages 13-14: competing for 3 rounds, each time 1.5 minutes, in the middle of the half break 1 minute.
Ages 15-16: play 3 rounds, 2 minutes each, in the middle of the half break 1 minute.
Ages 17-18: play 3 rounds, each 3 minutes, in the middle of the 1-minute break.
Each participating unit is registered for 1 head of the delegation and 6 coaches to direct the athletes of the unit according to the competition registration list. This year's award for athletes with excellent achievements including medals, most flags, second and third groups for all ages.
The Vietnam Boxing Federation granted high -achieving athletes in the tournament in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. This is a tournament that promises many fascinating competitions, as well as attracting fans of Quang Ngai “land” to watch and cheer.
On July 6, 2024, the tournament will take place a meeting of the heads and coaches of the units. Shortly thereafter, the Organizing Committee conducted a lottery schedule according to IBA software. The tournament will take place from 7/7/2024 to July 16, 2024, at the multi -purpose gymnasium in Quang Ngai province.
