In addition to the establishment of the MMA Vietnam team attending the MMA Asia, the Vietnam General Martial Arts Federation (VMMAF) also sent two referees Ngo Viet Phu and Tran Dai Trieu to participate in the training course organized by the Asian Martial Arts Federation.
Sharing on his personal page, referee Ngo Viet Phu said that he and referee Tran Dai Trieu completed the training course and received the referee's certificate issued by the Asian MMA Union. These are the first two MMA Vietnam referees to reach the continental level.
Ngo Viet Phu was born and raised in Hue. He practiced and trained many martial arts before being charming with the MMA arbitration work. The 'huge' martial arts experience table of this black king includes: Karate 15 years, 5 years as an referee Karate; Jiu Jitsu purple belt; Coach and referee boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Bjj, No Gi Bjj, Jiu Jitsu and MMA.
Tran Dai Trieu is also a good referee of MMA Vietnam. He successfully completed the matches in the position of arbitration or scoring assessment. That is why he was trusted to study Asian certificates.
According to information from VMMAF, these two referees will be arranged on the mission at the Asian MMA championship after completing the course. The tournament takes place from August 16 to August in Phuket, Thailand. The MMA Vietnam team consists of 4 boxers including: Nguyen Tien Long, Nghiem Van Y, Nguyen Thi Thanh Truc and Duong Thi Thanh Binh will play in this tournament.
