At the end of the first season of Vietnam General Vo, Pham Van Nam suddenly became the first person to have the Lion Championship championship belt. Not long after that, the boxer born in 1992 decided to “Nam Tien”. He joined the Saigon Sports Club (SSC) from the beginning of 2023 to the present.
The time Van Nam practiced in Ho Chi Minh City showed the effectiveness in the defense of the Lion Championship championship. Before rival Dinh Van Huong, Van Nam was not afraid to face the striking blow in the first 2 rounds. He also combines well the striking and grappling skills to defeat Van Huong in the third half.
Van Nam's match is also assessed to have very high professional quality, when both fighters choose to take the initiative to attack from the beginning. At the end of the match, the top competition between the two boxers was also chosen to be Fight of the Night, the best match of the Lion Championship 8 event.
A few days after the match with Dinh Van Huong, Pham Van Nam said he would return to Hanoi to practice and live in the near future. This seems to be the decision of Van Nam personally, when he wants to be closer to his family. During Van Nam “Nam Tien”, his wife and children returned to Ha Nam to live.
After successfully defending the Lion Championship championship weight of 56kg male weight, Van Nam's immediate goal could continue to keep the throne. Van Nam's weight class has many strong boxers participating in competition such as Do Huy Hoang, Nguyen Thanh Do, Tran Trong Kim and Phan Thanh Tung.
