Mike Tyson: Jake Paul vs. Kamaru Usman is a match that should be held

In a recent episode of the Podcast program “Hotboxin with Mike Tyson”, the heavy boxing legend talked to the former Champion of the UFC Henry Cejudo. He asserted that Paul vs. Usman will be a blockbuster battle.

Tyson said: “I want to see that monster match. The money (that Usman received) would be twice or three times in UFC. So how could he refuse it?”

Usman and Paul were on social networks and through the press, and “Nigerian nightmares” said that although he would be ready for a war with the YouTube star, the remuneration needs to be a reasonable number.

“I don't necessarily care about the war. I don't care about it. To be honest, I don't really feel happy to think of it,” Usman said.

“But I had to make a lot of effort in my sport to achieve the position I had. And then when you see these people coming in and only, 'Oh, I want to challenge him. I want to challenge this boxer, that martial artist, that is almost disrespectful.”

Kamaru Usman felt that his trained to become a “Jake Paul's opponent” was a disrespect.

“I think the check will have eight zeros in it. If there are eight zeros at the front of the Czech, then surely, we will consider it.”
