Truong Dinh Hoang is a Vietnamese boxer born in 1990. He grew up in Ea Phe commune, Krong Pak district, Dak Lak province with his parents who are normal farmers. But a special martial arts qualities soon arose in the boy of Truong Dinh Hoang.
From a young age, he has revealed his healthy, agile and preferred sports. Therefore, in 2002, his father decided to let him attend traditional martial arts at the commune club. However, pursuing traditional martial arts for a while, boy Truong Dinh Hoang was charming with Wushu.
After graduating and going to Buon Me Thuot city, Hoang pursued Wushu and was selected to the athletes of Dak Lak Sports Training Center. During many years of training and participating in many tournaments, but unfortunately Truong Dinh Hoang did not bring much achievements.
Undeterred, Truong Dinh Hoang wrapped up his hometown and found himself another way.
Knowing Boxing for a long time, but Truong Dinh Hoang has never dared to try in this martial art, partly because of its harshness, partly because he was so familiar with the movements of approval and traditional martial arts. But a certain motivation made Hoang decided to commit, he shook off everything to learn and practice boxing.
In 2006, Hoang took part in the boxing team of Dak Lak province and was admitted to the first exam. Since then, Truong Dinh Hoang's martial arts career has begun to have great changes, if not the great turning points.
At the age of 18, Truong Dinh Hoang became the official athlete of the Vietnam boxing team. Young talents are constantly storming in provincial and national tournaments. Up to now, Truong Dinh Hoang has had more than 13 years of winning the national championship and has not shown signs of performance.
In domestic tournaments, many times the boxers actively asked for a draw when the draw was the name Truong Dinh Hoang. And many times the opponent's coach had to shake his head when he looked at Truong Dinh Hoang to launch powerful hook punches. Especially at the National Championship in 2019, the Dak Lak boxer only takes 43 seconds to defeat the opponent and win the gold medal in the 75kg weight class.
Not only dominating in domestic boxing tournaments, Truong Dinh Hoang is also a name that makes the fighters in Southeast Asia wary. In 2015, which was a famous face in the newspapers, Truong Dinh Hoang once again created a big resonance when he won the SEA Games 28 gold medal. This is one of the biggest turning points of Truong Dinh Hoang's boxing career.
Not stopping at amateur boxing, the Dak Lak puncher also embarked on the professional boxing arena. In May 2019, Hoang had his first professional match against Thai rival Arthit Bunphloeng in the 76kg Mid -76kg WBA Asian Prize.
Although standing in front of an experienced fighter competition, Truong Dinh Hoang still proved to the opponent to see the power of a SEA Games championship. In just one round, Hoang has successfully Knockout Arthit Bunphloeng and won.

In the victory, Truong Dinh Hoang continued to create history for Vietnamese boxing when he won the Thai puncher Yuttana Wongda in the Asian WBC belt match in the Philippines. With this victory, Truong Dinh Hoang became the first person in Vietnam's boxing history to hold the two WBC Asian Championships and the East Asia WBC.
Currently, in front of the upcoming SEA Games 31, Truong Dinh Hoang intends to write another gold page to his boxing career. On December 31, 2021, Truong Dinh Hoang was summoned into the national boxing team to train to prepare for a promising SEA Games season.
