Tran Van Thao is officially present in the list of Vietnam boxing team

It is expected that the former WBC champion will prepare to compete with the athletes of your country SEA Games in the 54kg weight class. This is a good news for Tran Van Thao, because he always looks forward to returning to the amateur arena, and is always ready when Boxing Vietnam calls his name.

“Thao will continue the challenges, unfinished plans that have not been achieved in recent years. Once again Thao will return to the amateur arena, Thao will focus hard, try his best and always be ready to dedicate when Boxing Vietnam needs Thao to play at the SEA Games.” Tran Van Thao shared.

“Thao has won the national seven years, but regretted that she has never won the SEA Games gold medal. Thao still expects to contribute to Boxing Vietnam.”

Tran Van Thao is a national amateur champion of 52kg in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2014 and 2016, the 2016 steel arena championship. In 2017, he became the first fighter of Vietnam to win the Asian WBC championship and receive the Asian -Honorary Martial Arts Award of the year.
